Saratoga Temp Drop-Off Event 5/11

The Household Hazardous Waste Program appreciates the residents who waited patiently in line to responsibly drop off your household hazardous waste (HHW) at our temporary event held in Saratoga on 5/11/2024. For those residents who could not drop off their HHW, please visit our HHW program website (https://hhw.santaclaracounty.gov/home) to make another appointment to drop off the waste at our permanent locations at San Jose every Thursday through Saturday.  Our service is FREE to all residents living in Santa Clara County except residents of Palo Alto, who have their own HHW program. 

If your HHW consists of only paint, you can visit Paint Care website (https://www.paintcare.org/states/california/) for the nearest FREE drop-off locations without making appointments.

If your HHW consist of sharps or needles, you can visit https://med-project.org/locations/santa-clara/find-a-location/ for the nearest FREE drop-off locations. To order FREE puncture-proof sharps containers, you can visit https://med-project.org/locations/santa-clara/mail-back-services/.
