Steps to use the VSQG program

All participants of the VSQG program are required to have an EPA Identification Number. Temporary numbers are available for one-time or very infrequent disposal needs.
Call the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) at 1-800-618-6942 or visit their website (https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/) to apply for either a Permanent or Temporary number.
In most cases, EPA ID numbers can be assigned over the phone.
Step 3: Submit your inventory sheet
Email the completed inventory sheet to [email protected].
Using your inventory sheet, a quote will be generated and provided to you. Pricing is dependent on material type, container type and size.
Step 4: Schedule an appointment
After reviewing the quote, if you determine that you wish to proceed, we will schedule you an appointment to drop off your waste.
We have VSQG business drop off appointment at our San Jose and San Martin facilities.
Check our current VSQG business hazardous waste Operating Schedule here.
Step 5: Drop off your waste
On your appointment day, carefully package and load the waste into your vehicle. Secondary containment (trays, boxes) are helpful to segregate waste classes and prevent spills during transportation.
Drive to our facility where your waste will be verified and unloaded. You will receive a copy of your receipt after your appointment.
Step 6: Tell other businesses about us!
We do our best to promote our program, but word of mouth from satisfied customers is the most effective! Please share your experience with any other business that may benefit from our VSQG program.
Lastly, thank you for doing the right thing with your hazardous waste!
